I searched for Light, none could be found
There was Darkness, Darkness all around;
I went astray and the Darkness did I befriend
And this Path lead to Deeds, not easy to mend.
My Senses controlled me and my behavior
I searched for a helping hand – that of my Saviour;
I drowned the Depths inside me and I thought
Is it worth- can the battle be fought.
I looked at my kin, folks, and friends
For some Help and the Sufferings’ End;
Some were Kind and they did assist me
Till The Real mess in me, they didn’t see.
From the Darkness came a Calling
And I Rose, even when I was falling;
It was thus destined and Fate had to play
My fall was My Rise – thus was my way.
I no longer needed any helping hand
Finally, on the bottomless pit did I land;
There I met my people who felt like me
And finally, in the darkness could I see.
I was the Light – the One I had always tried to find
It was all inside – obscured by my Mind;
I thus My Self and Light finally found
And Thanked Darkness – for the Love abound!
